Terms of Service

These terms describe the intended use of DoctorAssistant, a WhatsApp-first appointment booking assistant for doctors and clinics.

Service scope

DoctorAssistant supports appointment-related communication: receiving requests, checking available slots, confirming bookings, and helping doctors or clinic admins manage availability and access.

No medical advice

DoctorAssistant is not a doctor, diagnostic assistant, emergency service, or electronic medical record system. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or recommend treatment. Patients should contact a qualified medical professional for medical questions and local emergency services for urgent situations.

WhatsApp communication

By contacting the service through WhatsApp, users understand that appointment messages may be processed by backend systems to support scheduling. Users should not send unnecessary sensitive information.

Appointment accuracy

The backend checks availability before creating bookings, but clinics and doctors remain responsible for final operational handling, cancellations, and real-world appointment changes.

Admin and doctor actions

Schedule-impacting and subscription-impacting actions are handled through controlled backend flows with confirmation and audit logs. The service may reject actions that cannot be safely validated.
