Privacy Policy
DoctorAssistant is a WhatsApp-first appointment booking assistant operated as an AvtoSmart Digital Products service. This policy explains what information we process when patients, doctors, or clinic administrators use the service.
Information we process
We may process the following booking-related information:
- WhatsApp phone numbers and message history needed to handle booking requests.
- Patient name, appointment history, preferred appointment times, and selected doctor or clinic.
- Booking-related notes or reasons for visit when the patient voluntarily provides them.
- Doctor availability, schedule changes, confirmations, and admin subscription actions.
How we use information
Information is used to identify the correct conversation, understand booking intent, offer available time slots, confirm appointments, maintain audit logs, and improve booking communication. We do not use this service to diagnose medical conditions or provide medical treatment.
Data minimization
DoctorAssistant is designed to store only information that is useful for appointment booking, repeat visits, scheduling context, and operational auditability. It is not a full electronic medical record system.
Sharing and processors
WhatsApp communication is processed through Meta WhatsApp Business Platform. The backend may use managed database and AI infrastructure to parse intent and support booking workflows. AI systems do not write directly to the database or make final transactional decisions.
Retention
Booking and conversation records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for scheduling operations, service reliability, auditability, legal obligations, and customer support.
